Tomb Raider Remastered: Find the T-Rex Trophy Room (2026)

Croft Manor in Tomb Raider 3 Remastered has a hidden Trophy Room stashed away in it, full of mementos from Lara's earlier adventures, including the dinosaur she ran into back in the first game. It's easy to walk past for a whole playthrough, so here's how to get in.

TLDR;

Press the hidden button on the back of the diving board by the pool to open a concealed door in the main hall, then get over there quick and pull the lever behind that door to reveal the passage to the Trophy Room, where the T-Rex head, the Dagger of Xian, the Iris and the rest of Lara's souvenirs are sat.

Finding the Way In

The way in starts at the pool, and the order matters:

  1. Head to the swimming pool area in Croft Manor
  2. Go to the diving board at one end of the pool
  3. Look at the back side of the diving board base
  4. Press the hidden button there

That opens a concealed door in the main hall of the manor, but only for a short while, so the timing matters.

Getting to the Trophy Room

Once you've hit the switch by the pool:

  1. Leg it back to the main hall of Croft Manor
  2. Look for a newly opened passage in the wall
  3. Go in and find the lever inside
  4. Pull the lever to open the final door to the Trophy Room

Most people who miss this room just aren't quick enough off the button. The window's tight, so expect a few attempts before you make it to the passage ahead of it closing.

What's Inside

  • T-Rex Trophy: the mounted head of the dinosaur from the Lost Valley in the original Tomb Raider
  • Dagger of Xian: the artifact from Tomb Raider 2
  • The Iris: the mysterious artifact from Tomb Raider 3
  • Golden Idol: a statue that looks an awful lot like the famous idol from Indiana Jones

Tips

  • Use Photo Mode: handy for spotting hidden buttons and switches in dark areas
  • Switch Graphics: flicking over to classic graphics for a bit sometimes makes certain environmental elements easier to see
  • Clear Path: make sure nothing's in your way on the run from the pool to the main hall
  • Look Carefully: the button on the diving board blends into the environment, so plenty of people look straight at it and miss it

The Trophy Room only turns up in Tomb Raider 3 Remastered, but what's on display nods to all three games in the trilogy.
