Evercade's second Tomb Raider cartridge is out, the follow-up to Blaze Entertainment's first collection with Crystal Dynamics, and it covers the end of Lara Croft's 32-bit era.
What's on it
Tomb Raider Collection 2 has Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider: Chronicles on it. Andrew Byatt, CEO of Blaze Entertainment, said the releases keep the original 32-bit CD games as they were, with minor tweaks for performance on modern displays.
"The response to the first collection of Tomb Raider 32-bit CD games was incredible," Byatt shared. "We love that not only the Evercade community but also the Tomb Raider fans all joined in to make that release very special."
The Times bonus level
There's also a bonus level from Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation that used to be PC-only, originally handed out with The Times newspaper in the UK, and it's been ported from PC into the 32-bit console engine. That makes this the first time it's playable on console in the original game format, and it sits inside the game itself, selectable from The Last Revelation's in-game menu.
The Tomb Raider 4-6 Remasters included a remastered version of the same level, but Evercade's runs with the original game's look and feel.
Where to get it
Tomb Raider Collection 2 is available now, and Tomb Raider Collection 1 is still around if you missed it. Both can be bought on their own or bundled with Evercade hardware.
Evercade's hardware line has grown since the first collection to include the Evercade Alpha bartop arcade unit, so these can be played in an arcade cabinet too.

TLDR;
Tomb Raider Collection 2 is out on Evercade with The Last Revelation and Chronicles in their original 32-bit format, plus a bonus level that was PC-only until now, converted to the original console engine. It and Collection 1 are both available, and they run on all Evercade hardware including the bartop arcade unit.
