Tomb Raider: Lobby Edition
The first multiplayer hub for the Tomb Raider Level Editor
Tomb Lobby is a multiplayer experiment built on Tomb Engine (TEN) that introduces a shared online hub for the Tomb Raider Level Editor community. It connects builders with players in real time — letting you explore, socialize, and play together.
The project was inspired by Burn's Multiplayer Mod for Tomb Raider Remastered, and we're proud to support the creator as they push multiplayer into the world of TRLE custom levels. We encourage them to keep creating!
How It Works
At its core, Tomb Lobby provides a Croft Manor hub based on Tomb Raider III that serves as a shared space where players can meet and connect. From there, the project branches into two directions:
Host Your Levels
Builders can host their own Tomb Engine sandbox or standalone levels for free, 24/7. Whether your level is finished or still a work-in-progress, the Lobby connects it with players ready to explore.
Play Together
Players can meet other raiders in the shared manor, interact in real time, and jump into hosted custom levels together. It's a new way to experience the TRLE community.
VU: Legend of CWB
Tomb Raider: VU — Legend of CWB is the first playable multiplayer experience released through Tomb Lobby. It's a full Tomb Engine custom level set in the rain-slicked streets of Curitiba, Brazil.
Lara Croft has spent her life unearthing secrets in the silent corners of the world. But her latest lead has brought her to the bustling streets of Curitiba, to the V.U. Nightclub — a labyrinth of shadows and strobe lights. Behind the pulsing lights lies a secret: an ancient temple built upon sacred geometry, hidden in plain sight.
The level features:
- A story involving a radical cult called the Evilgelics tied to local corruption
- Two different endings — a vehicle sequence route or an underground mysterious path
- The first of a planned 3 to 5 levels, with the final count depending on player choices

Tomb Lobby is currently in open testing. Streams and gameplay recordings are encouraged! If you're a level builder, you can submit your level to be hosted for free.
