Tomb Lobby

Tomb Raider: Lobby Edition

The first multiplayer hub for the Tomb Raider Level Editor

Tomb Lobby is a multiplayer experiment built on Tomb Engine (TEN). It gives the Tomb Raider Level Editor crowd a shared hub online, so builders and players actually end up in the same room in real time.

It was inspired by Burn's Multiplayer Mod for Tomb Raider Remastered, and we're happy to back the creator while they drag multiplayer into TRLE custom levels.

How It Works

The hub is Croft Manor, based on Tomb Raider III, and that's the shared space everyone meets up in. From there it splits two ways.

Host Your Levels

Host your own Tomb Engine sandbox or standalone levels for free, 24/7. Finished or still a work-in-progress, either's fine, and the Lobby puts them in front of players.

Play Together

Meet other raiders in the manor, mess about in real time, and jump into hosted custom levels together.

VU: Legend of CWB

Tomb Raider: VU — Legend of CWB is the first playable multiplayer level to come out of Tomb Lobby. It's a full Tomb Engine custom level set in Curitiba, Brazil.

Lara Croft has spent her life unearthing secrets in the silent corners of the world. But her latest lead has brought her to the bustling streets of Curitiba, to the V.U. Nightclub — a labyrinth of shadows and strobe lights. Behind the pulsing lights lies a secret: an ancient temple built upon sacred geometry, hidden in plain sight.

What's in it:

  • A radical cult called the Evilgelics, tied to local corruption
  • Two different endings — a vehicle sequence, or an underground path
  • The first of a planned 3 to 5 levels, and the final count depends on player choices

Get Involved

Tomb Lobby is in open testing, so stream it and record it all you like. If you build levels, yours can be hosted for free, so leave your name and email on the Tumblr page or join Dino's Discord.
